BWRT
Looking for a treatment that is fast, efficient and content free? Read on…
‘BWRT®’ stands for ‘BrainWorking Recursive Therapy®’, is a modern model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI. It uses a totally logical, practical and down-to-earth working method in which it’s not necessary for you to talk about anything you would rather not discuss – the practitioner only needs to know how you feel and how you would prefer to feel instead.
BWRT® is unlike any other therapy you might have heard of or read about, using the latest discoveries in neuroscience coupled with your own unique brain processes to help you achieve your goals and alleviate your symptoms. Only Certified Practitioners have been trained to deliver BWRT® and all have to adhere to a strict ethical code. Find out more at http://www.bwrt.org
BWRT is based on the work of Benjamin Libet. Libet’s experiments showed that our decision of how to respond to our environment were made at a deeper subconscious level well before our conscious awareness. This is why the arachnophobe will know consciously that the small house spider on the other side of the room won’t hurt them but they feel terrified. Because the feel is the response to the spider and is activated long before the conscious awareness is activated.
These experiments led Terence to utilise this discovery and he went on to develop a model of treatment that could work within this cognitive gap to change the neural pathways of the brain, leading to a more helpful response.
BWRT deals with wide range of issues such as
-
phobias (including emetophobia)
-
anxieties including GAD (Generalised Anxiety Disorder)
-
addictions such as gambling, pornography, alcohol and cocaine
-
unwanted habits
-
social anxiety
and so on.
This amazing therapy can be incredibly rapid with only one session required in some cases.
